At WAES, we believe that support shouldn’t stop at graduation. That’s why we stay connected to our students long after they’ve finished high school—whether they’re heading off to college, joining the military, or stepping into the workforce. We understand how powerful it is to be connected to something positive and lasting. That’s the heartbeat of My Tribe.

We work continually to grow this tribe—a circle of care and encouragement made up of people who believe in the potential of every student. Life beyond high school comes with its own twists, turns, and unexpected detours. But when students know they have a strong, stable foundation of individuals cheering them on, those challenges become stepping stones rather than roadblocks.

The WAES Tribe is as diverse as the journeys our students take. It includes educators, business leaders, entrepreneurs, ministers, active and retired military members, college students, and more. Each person brings their own wisdom, experience, and heart to the table—but what they all share is a commitment to show up for our youth with encouragement and authenticity.

We’re not just mentors—we’re allies, role models, sounding boards, and safe spaces. Our Tribe is here to uplift, inspire, and remind every student that no matter where life takes them, they are not alone.
